Friends of Straub Environmental Learning Center, 1320 A Street NE, Salem, is offering classes; "Sustainability: Solar Power" on Thursday, October 14, "Watershed Ed" on Thursday, November 11, "Geology" on Thursday, January 13, "Invertebrates" on Thursday, February 10, "Birds" on Thurday, March 10, "Temperate Rainforests" on Thursday, April 14, "Native Plants" on Thursday, May 12, and "Oak Savannah" on Thursday, June 9.
